Kerala State

The SWM Churches at Keezharoor, Vencode, Palugal and Grace Gardens are advancing spiritually, and increasing in membership. Different Pastors and Elders are taking care of the flocks under the efficient leadership of the Founder-Chairman Dr Jacob P. Isaac.

Orissa State

The SWM had over 100 churches, both Odisha and Chattisgarh, in addition to the Junarh English School. Now the churches are given freedom to function independently. Dr. Jacob P. Isaac, has a deep compassion and commitment to Orissa. He has walked extensively with Mrs. Isaac doing ministry through the remote villages of Orissa state as well as Chattisgarh State.

Tamil Nadu State

At present the SWM has two churches in Tamil Nadu. One is at Pinnakara and the other at Kannumamoodu. Both churches are growing steadily under the leadership of Elder Mani and Rev. Sasidharan. Pinnakara is an ideal training center where we post our M.Div. students, two each for a period of three months for Rural and Tribal Practical ministries.

A Brief History of the Soul Winning Mission:

In 1974, while working in Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Jacob Isaac was led by God to start the Soul Winning Fellowship. It was the first known and official Christian gathering in the Muslim country of Oman. This work continued on his return to India.

In 1976 Dr. Isaac came to the USA with his young family and on a subsequent visit to India in 1979 a new invigorated ministry, the Soul Winning Mission, was born. Dr. Isaac kept the work and vision of a vibrant fruitful soul winning mission in his heart until the Lord called him to give up his career and entrust his young family to Him.

In 1983, Dr. Isaac returned to India with his four young children (ages 10 through 14) and embarked on a full-time work of winning souls for God. There were many ups and downs but through prayer and faith the work and vision kept growing. Much of the work of the Soul Winning Mission during this time was evangelistic outreaches and church planting.
